Q. Are your products only for cars?

A. Although we primarily formulated our products for automotive use, there aren't really any limitations to where they may be used. We have used our products and achieved great results on boats, motorcycles, mountain bikes and in the house just to list a few examples.

 

Q. How much is this detailing package?

A. It is difficult to price a particular package due to variables including vehicle size and condition. We generally advise contacting us with interest and a rough estimate can be given based on information you provide.

 

Q. Why detail a brand new car?

A. Brand new cars can have a harsh life before reaching your dealership. This all starts at the factory. Even low volume vehicle manufacturers have a timescales for paint quality. Our packages take your new vehicle beyond showroom condition.

 

Q. Will a ceramic coating actually last years?

A. In short, yes. The common phrase 'it's all in the prep' plays a big part with ceramic coatings. Our experience allows us to correctly install and cure a premium ceramic coating making them capable of lasting 5+ years with our maintenance plans.

 

Q. What do I do if I notice a problem with my ceramic coating?

A. If you notice a problem or underperformance from your ceramic coating, it is advised that you contact us and avoid trying to rectify the issue yourself. This way we can determine what the problem is and resolve the matter. Your Wax Is Dead ceramic coating is warrantied against certain factors.

 

Q. Isn't detailing just a fancy word for valeting?

A. Detailing is beyond cleaning a vehicle. It's perfecting areas that the average eyes see without realising. Our goal is to permanently remove paint imperfections restoring an unmatched, luscious gloss finish.

 

Q. Do you offer a walk in service?

A. Our services are subject to terms and conditions. We like to ensure that our services are a good match for you and your pride and joy, therefore we work on a booking system only.
